Our foundation comes from my father, Tom Michael, a talented artist whose work can be seen at Odyssey Fine Art. Growing up, I watched him pour his heart into his crafts, from stained glass and glass blowing to painting vibrant landscapes. His passion for creating and sharing art became a part of who I am.

Lessons from a Master Craftsman

My father and I would often share ideas, color palettes, and creative "secrets," bonding over our shared love for artistic expression. After his passing, I turned to painting to grieve and stay connected to him. While I didn’t inherit his gift for landscapes, I found my own artistic voice, creating home decor, personalized gifts, and painting kits for the community.

During that journey, I met someone who owned a laser engraving business. I started helping with orders and quickly became fascinated by the precision and versatility of the craft. When the opportunity arose to purchase the laser, I took a leap of faith—and Odyssey Laser Engraving was born.
